Getting Here — Step by Step

From Airport

40 km, ~1 hour by taxi

  1. Arrive at Abeid Amani Karume International Airport (ZNZ)
  2. Collect luggage and exit arrivals hall
  3. Look for your pre-arranged driver or take an official taxi
  4. Tell the driver: Visitor's Inn, Jambiani East Coast

From Stone Town

55 km, ~1.5 hours

  1. From Stone Town, head southeast on the main road towards Jambiani
  2. Pass through the villages of Makunduchi and Bwejuu
  3. Continue through Paje and follow signs to Jambiani
  4. Look for the Visitor's Inn sign on your right before the village centre

Final Approach

Last 500 m from Jambiani main road

  1. Turn off the main road at the Visitor's Inn sign
  2. Follow the sandy track for 500 m (bumpy — slow driving recommended)
  3. Pass the local school on your left
  4. Visitor's Inn gate is straight ahead — white walls, green garden

Note: The last 500 m is an unpaved sandy track. Low-clearance vehicles should proceed slowly. We recommend booking our airport transfer for a hassle-free arrival.
